Star Hunters is a series of mysterious dinners that will surprise you at every turn. We will not tell you where the dinner take place, what menu you receive, or who will prepare it for you. One thing is certain – you will experience an evening full of surprises and flavors that you will remember for a long time.

Buy a ticket, show up at a given time and the place indicated on the ticket and be ready to be taken on a real culinary adventure!

Are you ready to become a Star Hunter?

The second edition of Star Hunters was something nobody expected!

As usual, the guests did not know where the dinner would take place until the very end, and this time the mysterious place turned out to be the Gdańsk Airport!
 
We greeted the guests with a Welcome drink in the VIP Zone, and then we took guests for a trip around areas that are usually inaccessible to visitors, such as: a hangar with private planes or the airport fire department – where guests could learn about secrets of firefighters work. At the end of the trip, we prepared something special – a ride on the runway and then behind the plane, which was about to take off.

After all the attractions, the main point of the evening was of course the dinner, which took place in the busy departure terminal, where passengers were waiting to check in for their flights. The entire menu referred to the history of aviation gastronomy and the special guest this time was Chef Sławomir Hahn from the L’entre Villes restaurant in Sopot, which received a Michelin distinction this year. The stars of the dinner were also our local products such as beef from the ecological Masurian farm or trout from the ecological Fier farm. The dish that was complemented the most was freshwater fish bisque soup and the whole dinner was, as usual, complemented by a cocktail pairing prepared by our Head of the bar.

This time we took our Star Hunters for dinner to a part of the Gdańsk Port that is not open to the public. The guests did not know where the event would take place until the last minute. At 6:00 p.m. everyone met at Eliksir, where they received snacks that were a small hint of where we were heading – sturgeon pate with Antonius caviar and pickles in a can, and the Ramazzotti Rosato cocktail – a combination of Campari, strawberry cordial and soda in capped bottle.

When we reached the destination, the guests were greeted by a representative of the Port, who told about interesting facts about the Port of Gdańsk.
 
The special guest of the event was Dominik Karpik – Chef of the Mercato restaurant from the Hilton Hotel in Gdańsk, which was rewarded by the Michelin Guide this year.
 
The dinner menu, of course, referred to the sea and fish. The guests started with the tasting of Polish Antonius caviar combined with Polish Gostart sparkling wine. Later they could try, among others, sturgeon with crayfish sauce as well as herring with cardamom and anise marinade. The most surprising dish was a dessert : pear served with chocolate, caramelized walnuts and caviar. 
 
In line with the idea of ​​Eliksir cocktail pairing, we have of course matched each dish with an alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail.
The next dinner will be held on November 14. Tickets sold out in 15 minutes, but there are more Star Hunters dinners to come!
